As part of our history topic onTudors, we arranged a fantastic trip to Windsor Castle! We were lucky enough to have some free time to take a tour around some areas of the castle, including Saint George's chapel where we saw the resting place of King Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, Henry's favourite wife. We also saw the resting place of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip which we were very interested in. After lunch, we had a workshop about Changing of Monarchs, where we got to dress up as various historical figures such as William the Conquerer and our current monarch, King Charles III. It was a brilliant day where we did lots of hands on learning and had a great time too!
